Maintenance Manager

We're seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and performance of our plant and equipment across a growing macadamia operation. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of timely, cost-effective maintenance and repair services for farm equipment and infrastructure, ensuring all company assets are well-maintained and protected.
Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Manager at our Fitzroy Macadamia Operations, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering timely and cost-effective breakdown, repair, and maintenance services for farm plant and equipment
2. Ensuring company assets are protected, maintained, and replaced as required
3. Maintaining plant and machinery in accordance with manufacturer standards
4. Supporting the development and ongoing improvement of workshop systems including record keeping of maintenance activities, servicing and parts
5. Upholding standards to ensure an inclusive, and respectful workplace
6. Leading by example in promoting safe and precise work practices
* Identifying worker training needs and ensuring all team members are informed, instructed, and competent to perform their tasks safely
Requirements
To be successful as the Maintenance Manager, you'll need a solid mix of technical qualifications, practical experience, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
7. Qualifications
* Certificate III or higher in an Engineering trade or other relevant field (Mechanical and/or Metal Fabrication, Diesel Mechanic etc.)
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Senior First Aid certification
* Forklift Licence
8. Trade experience, ideally within an agricultural setting
9. Familiarity with farm machinery, GPS systems, spray rigs and tillage equipment is highly regarded
10. Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
* Proficiency in operating specialised machinery, plant and GPS-guided tractors
