About this role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to eligible community members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide transport services using CatholicCare fleet vehicles
* Deliver information and support to clients regarding transport services
* Conduct risk assessments and vehicle inspections to ensure client safety
* Report incidents and hazards related to service delivery and fleet vehicles
* Promote services in the region to maintain program viability
Requirements
* Current C or CA class driver's license (QLD)
* Able to obtain and maintain a Driver Authorisation License
* Demonstrated experience in Transport Services or Community Care Service (desired)
* Experience driving 12-seater vehicles (desired)

* Professional communication skills
* Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver high-quality customer service
* Basic numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills relevant to the work area
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer use and handheld devices
* Ability to conduct appropriate risk assessments

Other Requirements:
* Basic knowledge of administrative practices and procedures relevant to the work area
* Sound computer knowledge prior experience providing transport services (desired)
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00 am
