A 12-month Finance Officer position on Sydney's lower North Shore to start ASAP, with WFH flexibility.

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Reconciliation Officer to join a high-performing finance team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced, transactional finance environment who’s ready to take ownership of key reconciliation processes.
Your new role
* Reconcile high-volume bank transactions and general ledger accounts
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in daily cash receipts and credit card settlements
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and banking partners to clarify transactions
* Provide weekly updates to the Finance Manager on bank account positions
* Complete monthly and quarterly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts
* Support month-end and year-end accounting processes with accuracy and timeliness
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
* 1–2 years’ experience in a similar high-volume transactional finance role
* Strong understanding of balance sheet and bank clearing accounts
* Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Opera systems (advantageous)
* A degree in Accounting
* Progress toward CPA qualification (preferred)
