Administration Officer - South East Region, Hope Island
The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, South East Region is seeking a high performing Administration Officer to join our team in the Hope Island Office. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and customer service skills to support the Regulatory team to provide quality service to their clients.
As The Administration Officer You Will
Provide administrative and financial services to support the activities of Early Childhood Division in the delivery of timely and quality client services.
Access and operate administrative and technical databases and financial records management systems, process information and prepare associated reports.
About The Role
The Administration Officer is the first point of contact in the South East Region's Regulatory team, providing professional, efficient and confidential administration support. The role encompasses providing quality administrative and corporate support within the Regulatory team in a fast-paced environment that requires efficient time management and strong customer service skills.
As An Administration Officer Your Responsibilities Include
Provide confidential and accurate administrative support, information and advice to Directors, Managers and other staff in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, on administrative and financial issues.
Receive telephone and email enquiries and respond in a professional and timely manner, providing information as required, or where necessary direct the queries to the appropriate area.
Work collegially as a team for the delivery of administrative and corporate support functions for the region.
Maintain the records management system, National database systems and administer the flow of correspondence across the unit. This can include acting as the central point for correspondence and documents, including distribution of correspondence and other documents, and when necessary, follow up on outstanding items and preparation of documents for approval.
Maintain currency of subject knowledge, technical proficiency and skills appropriate to the role including compliance with appropriate legislation, policies, procedures and protocols.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience in providing high quality administrative support in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
