DIDO / Relocation Options
This role is offered on a DIDO basis, making it ideal for candidates based in regional Victoria or the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
* DIDO each swing (no FIFO required)
* Temporary accommodation provided (up to 12 weeks) for relocation
* Support to transition into the Bendigo region long-term
* Residential / DIDO candidates must live within 50 minutes of site

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll join a tight-knit team of mobile plant tradespeople working across both workshop and (once trained) field environments.
Duties will include:
* Workshop maintenance – servicing, repairs, component change-outs
* Preventative and scheduled maintenance
* Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
* Field service work (once competent) – breakdowns and on-site support
Equipment
UG mining trucks, loaders (boggers), drills, ITs, charge-up equipment, spray rigs.
The Roster
* 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off
* Wednesday to Tuesday rotation
* 12-hour shifts
Your Value
This role is ideal for someone looking to step into mining from a background in mobile plant.
You'll bring:
* Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic)
* Experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential)
* Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems
* Background in heavy vehicles, earthmoving, agriculture or similar
* A genuine interest in moving into the mining industry
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
