Facilities Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and addressing any repair needs promptly. They will also assist in the implementation of safety protocols and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general maintenance, minor repairs, and coordinate assets of building infrastructure.
* Engage and manage external vendors for specialized expertise when required.
* Investigate repair requests, assess appropriate methods for repairs, and address property damage sustained by staff.
* Undertake and manage minor capital works as directed by the Manager.
* Collaborate with external project managers, contractors, and building professionals as needed.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contract agreements, schedules, and report variances.
* Ensure maintenance requirements comply with legislative requirements, relevant standards, and quality activities.
* Accurately log and process all building maintenance work requests.
* Manage building maintenance files, mandatory records, and invoice reconciliation.
* Prepare and distribute reports pertaining to maintenance activities, providing updates to the manager.
* Maintain a client-focused interaction as the main point of contact for maintenance support requests.
