A stable project to run for 6- 9 months, they need an immediate engineer to be site-based, 5 days a week to oversee all civil works.Based in the Berwick area, this is the second project our national client has delivered in Victoria.Your new roleVery much site based you will be responsible for overseeing all subcontractors on site, from earthworks, services, electrical works, landscaping, everything you can expect in a sporting field. An understanding of cost control would also be advantageous.You will communicate with all contractors on site making sure delivery and quality are maintained.What you'll need to succeedYou MUST have;Based in the South East of Melbourne, able to get to the Berwick area3- 7 years experience in managing civil sites, of similar size and value.Available to start in 1 week's notice.Civil Engineering degreeProven experience working for a civil contractor managing similar projectsLocal Australian/NZ contractor experience preferredExcellent communication skills- this is a site based role so essentialWhat you'll get in returnSecure work for the next 6- 9 months and potentially longer.
