About the Opportunity As the Category Manager - Strategic Procurement, you will lead the development and delivery of MLHD's Strategic Procurement Action Plan. Reporting to the Director – Finance & Performance, you will oversee Procurement Governance and Clinical Products Management, acting as the key advisor to the Chief Executive and Executive Team on strategic procurement matters. You will be responsible for:
* Implementing NSW Health strategic reforms within MLHD
* Leading procurement planning, sourcing and contract management activities
* Identifying and mitigating commercial and supply chain risks
* Strengthening procurement governance frameworks
* Building organisational procurement capability
* Managing supplier relationships and performance
* Representing MLHD at relevant state-wide forums
