About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced electrician to carry out maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, as well as some 9V battery-powered detectors, and to test and replace RCDs in residential properties, working 1 day per week. The work is primarily located in Griffith, with travel to surrounding areas as required, so a willingness to travel and a genuine enjoyment of driving is essential.
You will start your day from home to your first appointment, using our in-house built app to track your bookings and record all the relevant job information. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary.
What you'll bring

* Have or obtain an ABN (Australian Business Number)
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

* Familiar with smart phones applications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment Physical Assessment.
