Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to fill the position of Administration Officer Trainee. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, coupled with ongoing mentoring and support, to help them develop their skills and kickstart their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Administration Manager in managing daily office operations, including answering phone calls, correspondence, and emails in a timely and professional manner
* Provide general administrative support to the team, encompassing digital filing, record keeping, and reconciliations
* Assist in maintaining consistency in document formatting, document control, and branding across corporate communications
* Coordinate and schedule meetings and functions, ensuring seamless execution
* Manage adequate supplies of consumables to maintain a productive work environment
Requirements for Success:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
* Prior experience in reception and/or administrative support roles, demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office package
* Initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
* Willingness to travel to various worksites, if required
* Ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
