Land Specialist's Central Coast office is looking for a full time Town Planner. We are a team which includes lawyers, town planners, property consultants and admin staff. We are located at the Mariners Centre of Excellence in Tuggerah.
We project manage large residential subdivisions ($250M+) and large commercial developments ($500M+) and appear in the Land and Environment Court for planning and property related matters. We also have various litigation matters in the Supreme Court and Local Court.
We strive to maintain a low stress and fun working environment. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing
* Managing complex Development Applications
* Reviewing development proposals and plans to ensure compliance with town planning laws and regulations
* Conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and development
* Assisting with site selection and purchase processes
* Preparing and submitting planning applications, reports, and other documents to local authorities
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and local government representatives to understand their needs and concerns
* Providing expert advice and guidance throughout the planning and development process
* Staying up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and best practices
What we're looking for
* Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Strategic Planning, Urban Design, or a related field
* Experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy or local government setting
* Excellent understanding of town planning laws, regulations, and policies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to effectively communicate complex planning concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders
* Excellent project management and time management skills
