Conference & Events Operations Manager
This role focuses on leading conference and events operations delivering exceptional experiences across weddings conferences meetings and social events.
About The Role
* Lead day-to-day C&E operations and event execution successfully managing the planning process from start to finish.
* Raise team performance through training coaching and mentoring.
* Ensure outstanding guest service quality standards are met managing VIP needs effectively.
* Oversight of rostering payroll compliance and labour planning is crucial for operational efficiency.
* Maintaining high standards across event spaces both back of house and front of house is vital for our reputation.
* Cultivate strong cross-departmental relationships to achieve seamless delivery.
* Evaluate guest feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support proactive safety hazard management and operational compliance measures.
What We're Looking For
* A valid work permit in Australia is mandatory.
* Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or a related field such as Events Management.
* No less than three years experience in managing Conference & Events or hotel operations.
* Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for developing teams and improving their performance.
* Ability to manage financials including budget planning and control.
* Excellent communication organisation and time-management skills are essential.
* Holding a valid NSW RSA certificate and First Aid qualifications are necessary.
* Flexibility to work a varied roster including evenings weekends and public holidays.
