About The Role
This role will:
* Conduct hazard/defect identification and asset condition inspections of Council infrastructure.
* Conduct programmed and reactive inspections on all nominated assets and reporting on the condition and identifying defects.
* Provide reports, information and advice in relation to work scope, justification and treatments of identified defects.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Associate Degree or qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or substantial experience in the field of inspecting assets.
* Current "C" class driver's licence
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset construction and repair, RMPC, and maintenance practices including the ability to read and interpret drawings and plans for roadwork.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in performing analysis in various information technology systems including the Microsoft Office suite, GIS and Business Management Systems
* Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
* Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) and MUTCD.
* Minimum Level 1 Bridge Inspector.
* Ability to become an Authorised Persons.
