With almost 70 sites and more than 2,500 employees, we are currently in an exciting period of growth and looking for passionate individuals to join our expanding team. We are seeking dedicated professionals who can help us evolve and scale our people experiences while maintaining BlueFit's Values and ways of working.

Reporting to the Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Manager, this is a newly created, hands-on role, where the successful person will join a growing team delivering volume recruitment services for our leisure and aquatic site based roles including Learn to Swim Instructors, Lifeguards, Customer Success and Group Fitness. The role will champion best practice hiring and candidate experience, ensuring BlueFit continues to attract candidates to support our growth across Australia.

Responsibilities include:

* End-to-End Recruitment Management: Manage the full recruitment cycle using current systems, ensuring timely and successful hires from job advertisement through to offer.
* Talent Sourcing & Attraction: Advertise roles and develop innovative sourcing approaches including the use of Seek and other platforms, to attract qualified aquatic, recreational and corporate professionals across diverse industries.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand specific business needs, providing trusted advice on sourcing strategies, candidate experience and best-practice hiring approaches.
* Candidate Experience & Communication: Respond to all recruitment queries via phone and email with warmth, clarity and urgency, ensuring candidates receive timely feedback and an exceptional experience that reflects BlueFit's values.
* Interview & Compliance Coordination: Schedule interviews, manage candidate communications and facilitate all necessary pre-employment checks, including references and compliance requirements.
* System Support & Data Integrity: Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on navigating recruitment tools, while ensuring seamless data integration and compliance for all new hires within the hiring system.
* Talent Pooling: Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines to meet both current and future workforce goals and objectives.
* Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the recruitment process, proactively addressing challenges to ensure smooth operations.
* Process Improvement & Projects: Support Talent Acquisition projects, such as new technology implementations, assessment centers and employer branding events, while identifying and driving improvements in recruitment and onboarding workflows.
* Employer Brand Advocacy: Champion BlueFit's employer brand at every step of the process to support the company's mission to "Inspire Community Activity".

About You:

We are looking for a motivated recruitment specialist who is ready to make a real impact as we continue our national growth. You are energised by fast-moving environments, work with purpose, and have a natural ability to build relationships as you help us find and engage the best talent in the industry. As a hands-on professional, you will take true ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a high-quality experience for every candidate and hiring manager.

Qualifications:

* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.
* All successful candidates will require current CPR, Senior First Aid (can be completed as part of commencement through BlueFit's RTO) and Working With Children certifications.

Experience:

* Previous experience in a recruitment and talent acquisition role, preferably in an aquatic and recreational environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and suggest process improvements.
* The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume working environment and be adept at managing conflicting priorities effectively.

Interpersonal Skills:

* Outstanding Communication: Efficiently communicate and screen applicants, reflecting the values of BlueFit in all interactions.
* Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and influencing hiring managers to adopt best practice approaches.
* Process and Management: Efficiently manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring timely and successful hires.
* Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the recruitment process.
