Human Resources Manager Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership team as a Human Resources Manager. This role will involve supporting the other senior managers and leaders with performance conversations, HR operations/recruitment, payroll queries, and month-end reporting.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Partnering with hotel leaders to drive recruitment, training completion, performance management, and employee engagement strategies;
* Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures;
* Leading workplace health and safety processes, facilitating monthly meetings, and following up on action items;
* Driving compliance in conjunction with other leaders for audits;
* Assisting managers and finance teams to ensure accuracy with timesheets and fortnightly payroll.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field;
* Related experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner, with the confidence to drive the HR function in a fast-paced hospitality environment;
* Familiarity with HIGA systems (an advantage);
* A sound understanding of the Fair Work Act;
* Experience using Preceda and UKG systems (an advantage).
