Workshop Controller / Team Leader

**RAC Auto Services** in **Mandurah **is looking for an experienced automotive master technician to take that next step up into a **Workshop Controller / Team Leader** role. Our Mandurah centre has an **air-conditioned workshop **with **free amenities** and **FREE onsite parking.**

**What will you be doing?**

Reporting to the Center Manager, this role leads a team including 1 senior technician, 4 technicians and 4 apprentices. You are responsible for coordinating workshop operations which includes a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

- Managing workshop daily activities and allocating repair orders to workshop staff.
- Conducting fault diagnostic and quality control checks on all work performed
- Checking vehicle safety reports to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Undertaking vehicle servicing and repairs when required
- Managing and controlling end to end stock and parts management.
- Adherence to Health and Safety legislative and RAC requirements

**What are we looking for in you?**
- Recognised qualification in Automotive Trade
- Minimum C Class Drivers licence and Motor Vehicle Repairers Licence
- The ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a team.
- An outstanding level of mechanical servicing and fault diagnostic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution skills.
- Strong level of computer literacy

This role requires an individual with proven hands-on leadership ability and experience, excellent prioritisation, and organisational skills along with a genuine desire to develop themselves and others.
