Responsibilities
* Provide direct clinical counselling for people (including children) who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and trauma.
* Provide assessments, therapeutic case management, and ongoing counselling to children and their carers who have experienced domestic violence, physical abuse, or neglect.
* Provide clinical supervision to team members.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Social Worker, Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist with extensive direct clinical experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of the impacts of trauma on the brain and development.
* Current, unrestricted NSW driver's licence with ability to travel to multiple locations across the health district, including home visits, schools and other community health services.
Essential Requirements
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current AHPRA Registration or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
