Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Canberra.
This role plays a critical part in supporting our financial management activities, including managing financial records, preparing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
* Key responsibilities include managing accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and processing salaries using Xero accounting software.
* The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with statutory reporting, undertaking occasional travel within Australia, and performing other duties as required.
About the role:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Finance Officer, proficiency in Xero Accounting software, and experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Suitable candidates will also possess strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, particularly Excel, and tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
In addition, experience working in Defence Projects is desirable.
Other Requirements:
* The successful candidate must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
* Able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance - NV1.
