About the Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity is available for a Business Development Manager, based in Milperra, NSW, with proven experience and demonstrated success in business development.
The successful candidate will be developing and growing SKF Lubrication (RecondOil) market share by generating new business revenue through providing business development activities together with internal technical sales support, driving value-added products, and integrated solutions across all SKF channels to market.
The main responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
* Actively manage and drive sustainable sales growth for Lubrication (Recond Oil) products by developing leads generated by the SKF Lubrication (Recond Oil) unit while championing the products internally and externally.
* Develop Lubrication (Recond Oil) products by working with distribution partners, OEMs, Segment teams, and Marketing teams to increase knowledge, create opportunities, and demonstrate the capabilities of the Lubrication (Recond Oil) Management product offer.
* Collect, analyse, and qualify potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
* Work in close cooperation with all stakeholders to deliver customer value including, but not limited to, Customer Experience, Segment Team, Marketing, Logistics and Application Engineering.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Engineering or related industry experience
* At least 3 years experience in a similar role with responsibility for delivering strategies which have demonstrated success.
* Sound knowledge of Industrial Lubrication (RecondOil) products, the application and related technology.
* Experience in Project Management and a team based strategic selling approach.
* Strong commercial acumen, including business and contract management would be beneficial.
* Demonstrated experience developing strategies and ability to develop business relationship at various levels, including senior management or corporate executives to win long-term strategic agreements.
* Ability to leverage resources and capabilities within an organization to achieve sales and projects objectives.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to use collaboration tools within the Microsoft O365 Suite and SAP would be beneficial.
