About this Role:
This position is responsible for day-to-day support and management of IT/Infrastructure/Networking program and managing multiple projects. You will liaise with technology vendors and engineering partners across various network projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gathering requirements for infrastructure network engineering project deliverables, engaging with project managers, engineers, and partners.
* Estimating engineering efforts and work allocations to network engineers to align with project deliverables.
* Ensuring quality and governance by reviewing processes in place, peer reviews, and aligning to project management methods.
* Workforce management and planning for cross-skilling opportunities to mitigate the risk of single person failure within project teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar project and/or program support role working on IT/Networking Infrastructure ideally Mining, Oil & Gas, Engineering, and Construction industry clients.
* Solid experience translating technical information from technical stakeholders to non-technical business and partner stakeholders.
* Ability to engage and ask the right questions of technical engineers to interpret and translate into verbal and documented communications.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, and the resources sector or other industrial technical services.
* Exposure to program management support across managing multiple concurrent IT Infrastructure projects.
