Role: Practice Partner
Location: South East Queensland North – covering Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, and parts of Ipswich and Logan
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a dedicated Practice Partner who will be a key enabler of the State's practice uplift goals, providing coaching and advice on all matters pertaining to quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), ensuring the delivery of nationally consistent and targeted teaching and learning support.
In this hands-on role, you'll coach and support centre teams, strengthening teaching and learning practices, including for children with additional needs. You'll provide guidance on all aspects of quality ECEC, ensuring consistently high-quality, targeted teaching and learning support to help centres achieve excellence.
Responsibilities
* Provide on-demand, high quality, consistent and effective advice and coaching support for teaching and learning for all children
* Work directly with a selected group of centres to deliver their Quality Improvement Plan actions in a coaching and modelling capacity
* Support the implementation and centre-based improvement of the QRS, the NQS, the EYLF and other approved learning frameworks across your state, focusing on high priority centres
* Maintain currency and expert knowledge of QRS, NQF, NQS, EYLF and other state learning frameworks and Australian ECEC practice
* Collaborate with the broader Teaching and Learning for All Children team to identify, develop and implement key practice uplift initiatives and strategies
* Collaborate with cross-functional specialists to co-design, implement and monitor effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain knowledge of relevant Child Protection Law matters and respond proactively to child protection matters
* Develop and maintain working relationships with Operations Team to support safety outcomes for the region and state

You'll Bring To The Table
* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from a recognised university
* Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teaching experience (birth to 8 years)
* Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
* Experience in delivering high quality training to centre-based teams
* Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams
* Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, state guidelines and the NQS
* Understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
* Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation and team leadership skills
