Data Scientist – Renewable Energy
We're partnering with a growing organisation in the renewable energy sector seeking a Data Scientist to support the performance and optimisation of large-scale energy assets. In this role, you'll work with real-time and historical data to build models, generate insights, and improve asset performance, collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse time-series and operational data to identify trends and performance issues
* Develop forecasting and optimisation models
* Build dashboards and reports to support decision-making
* Support performance monitoring, fault detection, and data-driven improvements
About You
* Background in data science, analytics, engineering, or similar
* Strong skills in Python and/or R, plus SQL
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
* Exposure to time-series, telemetry, or industrial/energy data preferred
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* SCADA knowledge highly regarded
