We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the safe execution of construction works on a major mining project.
The role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with stringent HSE and statutory requirements, monitoring contractor progress, and delivering bulk earthworks and capital projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee construction activities to meet strict HSE and statutory requirements
Lead and deliver site HSE inductions, verifications, training & risk assessments
Ensure safe work execution — permits, CMS, JHAs, SWPs, isolations & approvals
Maintain daily progress, reporting, and schedule accountability across contractors
Monitor QA / QC compliance and support commissioning and field execution
Coach supervisors and contractors to improve safety performance and work quality

A strong background in construction supervision, bulk earthworks or capital project delivery
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence contracting workforces
Experience with HSE systems, incident reporting, risk controls, and field verifications
Able to communicate confidently across engineering, HSE, planning & site execution teams
