About the Program
The Calvary OnePlus Graduate Nurse Transition Program (GNTP) is a national, twelve-month practice-based program that supports graduates to develop crucial clinical knowledge, skills and attitudes. Through structured rotations, mentorship and reflective practice, graduates learn the principles of evidence-based nursing and the ability to transition knowledge to practice.
Structured transition program with two 6-month rotations over the year through medical, surgical, peri‐operative and mental health wards at 0.8 FTE (negotiable). A dedicated New Graduate coordinator will support you throughout the 12‐month program.

What You Bring
Mandatory
* Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Valid work rights.
* Recent graduate enrolled nurse who has not previously participated in a graduate enrolled nurse transition programme and has not been employed for more than 3 months as an enrolled nurse in Australia or overseas.
Desirable
* Demonstrated effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to utilise the Nursing Process to provide safe, evidence‐based nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.
* Participation in ongoing professional development of self and others.
