**About the role**
This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced Inventory Co-ordinator who will be responsible for the managing and operation of the regional warehouse. This full-time position will be reporting to the Operations Manager Facilities Management. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for delivering effective management of warehouse, inventory and logistic activities to the detention network. You will conduct and/or provide support as required, for stock-take and asset audit activities. Knowledge in ensuring warehouse procurement is buying at best market or negotiated Serco national rates and be able to leverage of all available procurement opportunities.

- Extensive warehouse knowledge in safe working practices
- Sufficient experience in management of inventory & assets within warehousing & sites
- Experience in maintaining cost-effective logistics across the network
- Experience in ensuring vendors are supplying what is required in a timely matter
- Transparency with Stock on Hand (SOH) across the network
- A history in supporting multiple sites with all warehouse management requirements
- And maintain a High Risk / Fork Lift License
- And maintain a current full Australian Driver's Licence
- An understanding of Sea and Airfreight processes
- The ability and willingness to obtain "Dangerous Goods by Air - Awareness for Ground Crew" Certificate
