Discovery Early Learning Centre – Ulverstone TAS. We are a Tasmanian family-owned and operated organisation with extensive experience in providing high-quality education and care programs for children from birth to twelve years of age across Tasmania. Consistently recognised as Exceeding National Quality Standards, ensuring the highest level of education and care for every child.
We offer Long Day Care, Preschool programs and Outside School Hours Care including Before School, After School and Vacation Care. We understand every family has different needs and, with this in mind, we offer care on a full-time or part-time basis. Occasional care and casual care are available where a vacancy exists.
The role
We are seeking qualified Educators to join our professional team at our Ulverstone Early Learning Centre and our Ulverstone Outside School Hours Care program. We are seeking casual staff with a Certificate III or Diploma, with availability across Monday - Friday, 6.30 am - 6.30 pm; however, we can offer flexibility for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Observe children to identify individual needs, interests, and developmental progress
* Assist with Educational programming and routines
* Work collaboratively with other educators to coordinate activities
You must have
* Any ACEQA-approved qualification
* Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration
* Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
