About The Opportunity
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for employers and injured workers in matters related to workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work planning.
Some of your responsibilities will include :
Identifying barriers to return-to-work and implementing effective strategies.
Preparing detailed reports to support case progress and insurance requirements.
Managing a caseload of clients, providing return-to-work assistance and case management.
Educating clients and employers on injury prevention and best-practice rehabilitation strategies.
Conducting thorough workplace assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and functional assessments.
Liaising with employers, insurers, and medical professionals to create and execute rehabilitation programs.
About You
The successful candidate will have :
A current Australian driver's licence.
CurrentAccreditation with AHPRA or ESSA
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
Proactive communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
6+ months of experience as a rehabilitation consultant with any National Rehabilitation Provider
Must be able to manage cases at a basic level and commence employment managing a caseload
An analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex injury cases and develop appropriate management strategies.
Education inExercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Registered Nurse, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling
