Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide holistic and comprehensive nursing support to participants throughout their journey in our Withdrawal Unit. This is an opportunity to enhance the provision of primary health care within a specialist Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current Div 1 certificate
* Practical experience in AOD sector service delivery, with an understanding of addictive behavior and drugs, both illicit and licit
* Demonstrated skills in triage, medical assessment, decision making, and providing appropriate nursing interventions during crisis
* Demonstrated competence in infection control procedures
* Competent computer skills to use Microsoft office programs such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Sharepoint, and to learn and use TSA's documentation software
