About the role
Hornsby Mazda, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success and overall performance of the dealership. This is a full‐time position based in Hornsby offering a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make a significant impact within the organisation.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the finance and insurance operations of the dealership, ensuring maximum profitability and customer satisfaction
* Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on finance options, insurance products, and other value‐added services
* Negotiate and secure favourable finance and insurance deals with lenders and providers
* Develop and implement strategies to maximise the sale of finance and insurance products
* Monitor and analyse key financial and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
* Collaborate with the sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies
* Lead and mentor a team of finance and insurance professionals
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar Business Manager or Finance Manager role within the automotive industry
* Strong financial acumen and expertise in managing finance and insurance operations
* Excellent negotiation and customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and finance providers
* Proven track record of driving sales and profitability of finance and insurance products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
* Analytical and problem‐solving skills to identify and implement process improvements
