We are looking for a Project Manager to join the team ideally with industrial service experience and offshore oil and has expereince.
Formal Qualifications
Trade / Engineering / Project Management Certificate or Degree (or equivalent industry experience)
Skills And Technical Competencies
* Excellent communication & leadership skills (verbal & written)
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Proven History of Utilising Company Databases
* Strong attention to detail
* Time management/prioritisation skills
* Knowledge of Warehouse process & systems
* Relevant technical qualifications in Technical fields
* Project Management qualification (or equivalent relevant industry experience)
* Technical acumen
* Commercial acumen
* HSE responsibilities
* Problem solving skills
* Understanding of logistics issues as they relate to movement of plant & equipment
* Understanding of Financial administration inclusive of budgetary responsibility
* Knowledge of project management practices, Gantt charts, JIT concepts etc
* Significant Oil/Gas industry knowledge
* Equipment & operations knowledge
* HSE knowledge including legislated responsibilities & competence
* Business/Management systems knowledge e.g. asset booking system, time & attendance or similar & transferrable
* Employee/Industrial Relations knowledge
* Conflict management/resolution techniques
Experience
* 4-6 years intermediate supervisory/technical management experience within a safety, quality and productivity performance-focused industry
* Significant people management experience
* A background in the oil and gas industry (or equivalent industry experience)
* Contract service provider experience; ideally in industrial services.
* Strong coordination background
* Relationship and conflict management experience
* Evidence of organic growth of a commercial area of responsibility
* Track record of consistently delivering projects within budget on time using proactive actions early to address projected shortfalls
* Strong computer skills and administrative background
* Demonstrated leadership and task ownership experience
* Strong experience in personnel management
