Our client is a values‑driven healthcare group that genuinely walks the talk. They're looking for a Procurement Team Leader who can bring strong leadership, sound procurement expertise, and ideally experience within a health‑related environment.
This is a newly created role that offers flexibility to be based in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast, with some travel between sites. This will be hands‑on, relationship‑focused position where you can make a real impact from day one.
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a small team to deliver procurement strategies that support clinical excellence, operational performance, and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with clinical and operational needs
* Lead and mentor a small team of procurement officers, fostering a collaborative and solutions‑focused culture
* Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure value and quality
About You
* Proven experience in procurement leadership within healthcare or veterinary environments (3+ years)
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
* Experience sourcing pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumables (preferred)
* Understanding of regulatory compliance, including controlled substances
* Qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business (preferred)
