Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Bathurst, NSW. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing financial data, providing business advisory services, reviewing financial statements, and supporting the decision-making process for clients. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and collaborating with clients to achieve their strategic financial goals.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance standards, and tax regulations
* Proficiency with accounting software and other relevant financial tools
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-oriented approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA or CA certification preferred
* Experience in business advisory services and familiarity with Australian tax laws is essential
