The Role
As Commercial Manager (Legal & Contracts), you’ll take ownership of the company’s commercial contracts and legal framework, partnering closely with the Directors and senior stakeholders across the business.
This is a foundational in-house role.
You’ll be responsible for shaping how contracts, compliance, and commercial risk are managed as the company continues to grow locally and internationally.
Over time, there is clear scope to build and lead a team, making this a strong long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Rather than sitting on the sidelines, you’ll be actively shaping the function. This includes:Owning and evolving the commercial contracts framework across the businessActing as the go-to commercial and legal partner for Sales and LeadershipSupporting negotiations and tenders with clear, commercially minded adviceDesigning smarter templates, processes, and guardrails that enable growthManaging external counsel and ensuring compliance keeps pace with scalePlaying a key role in data protection, ISO standards, and global complianceIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support revenue
This is a role where you build the system, not just operate within it.
About You
You’re commercially minded, confident, and comfortable taking ownership.
You likely bring:
Experience in a commercial contracts or legal role (total of 3 years PQE at least), ideally from a SaaS / Software or Tech companyIn-house experience or training from a reputable law firmStrong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
