An opportunity has presented itself for a Trainee Locomotive Driver to join our team in Parkes, NSW.
What You'll Do
Complete a structured traineeship program to become a Qualified Locomotive Driver.
Reporting to the Superintendent Train Crew, you will:
* Complete an accelerated traineeship program combining classroom and on-the-job training
* Learn to operate locomotives safely and efficiently in line with safe working procedures
* Progress through a structured three-stage development program
* Work towards obtaining a TLI42622 Certificate IV in Train Driving upon successful completion
What You'll Bring
* A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to Safely Every Day
* Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends
* Flexibility to work away from home when required
* Basic computer skills and strong communication skills
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* School Certificate or equivalent
* No prior rail experience required – full training provided
