You'll be working on innovative projects that are critical to the bank's integrity, resilience and compliance posture. What you'll bring
We're interested in hearing from people who:
* Thrive on creating answers to solve complex transformational problems
* Bring deep expertise in full stack, full cycle engineering
* Have successfully led teams through multi-year builds, ideally in a similar role at enterprise level or as a CTO at a scaleup or ASX 200 listed organisation
* Take a pragmatic approach to technical debt, balancing commercial needs and engineering priorities
* Can identify, secure support for and execute on a clear technical direction and strategy
This is a hands-on, highly technical role. You'll thrive if you have experience across:
* Designing and implementing large-scale systems in a cloud environment
* Frontend: React
* Backend: Language agnostic however Java / Scala is desirable
* AI: experience of OpenAI and a good understanding of ML Ops
* Workflow orchestration and automation platforms e.g. Temporal, Camunda, Flowable
* Best practice DevSecOps
* Designing and developing secure, observable solutions
* Mentoring engineers to grow their technical and leadership capabilities.
