Job Title: Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Electrical Integrity group, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation work, with experience in planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and problem solving. Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
* Completing planned and breakdown maintenance of a wide range of electrical and instrumentation equipment (including high voltage repairs)
* Diagnosing and recommending repair methods
* Completing Hazardous Area and Gas System installation and maintenance work
* Continuously improving plant stability by identification and elimination of equipment failures and contributing to site safety culture
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* Demonstrated ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
* Current Queensland Electrical Licence is essential
* Demonstrated diagnostic fault finding and problem-solving skills
* Industrial High Voltage qualifications and experience is essential
* Exposure to Bailey DCS systems, hazardous area work is desirable
* Previous work with VSD's, DCS logic, electronic relays and fault finding on complex circuits is highly regarded
* Experience with cathodic protection system repair and maintenance will be beneficial
* Exposure to gas systems and PLC controlled systems would be advantageous
* A positive and motivated attitude
