Your Role
Are you passionate about resolving disputes and helping people navigate challenges? Join our supportive team as a Dispute Resolution Specialist, where you’ll guide customers and stakeholders towards fair resolutions.
Positions are available in IAG’s Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and External Dispute Resolution (EDR) teams, across major cities. We provide four weeks of comprehensive training to set you up for success.
Contract Details
We have multiple 12-month roles, both full-time and part-time (3 days/week), with flexible work arrangements including work from home and office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and resolve complaints referred to IAG’s IDR process or lodged with EDR schemes like AFCA, ensuring fair resolutions.
* Engage with customers and stakeholders, providing clear guidance and support.
* Assess complaints, make well-reasoned decisions, and communicate outcomes empathetically.
* Collaborate with a supportive team to improve customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in dispute resolution or complaint management, preferably in General Insurance.
* Legal or mediation qualifications or experience are advantageous.
* Knowledge of AFCA processes and regulatory requirements.
* Customer-focused with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to handle both simple and complex cases professionally.
* Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
