About the Role
To ensure the efficient and timely delivery of landscape projects, foster client relationships, support business development, and contribute to the organisation's reputation through high-quality design, documentation, and project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Projects & Delivery: Oversee projects across various scales, ensuring they meet budget and schedule parameters; maintain accurate entries for timesheets and invoicing.
* Design Excellence: Lead design and development phases, ensuring consistently exceptional deliverables across the studio.
* Business Development & Commercial: Identify new opportunities and prepare submissions (subject to principal approval).
* Client Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Landscape Architectural Duties: Conduct site inspections, cost planning, product sourcing, documentation, detailing, and specification writing.
* People Management: Mentor, assess, and develop team members.
* Communication & Representation: Engage professionally with colleagues and clients; uphold a positive image of the practice in all areas of work.
Required Skills:
* Advanced technical skills in design, construction techniques, and relevant software.
* Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
* Effective delegation and time management to meet deadlines and align with project scope.
* Strong written and oral communication, along with presentation skills.
* 8–12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
* Track record in managing projects from concept through delivery, including staff and project management.
* A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Architecture combined with horticulture or ecology training).
