About the Position
This role focuses on providing therapeutic support, counseling, and healing services to children, young people, and families affected by trauma, abuse, and violence.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional child, young person, adult, and family counseling services in collaboration with senior practitioners.
* A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and families, is essential.
* Experience working therapeutically with children, young people, and families is highly desirable.
Key Selection Criteria
To excel in this position, applicants should possess:
* Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
* Ability to work effectively with children, young people, and families from diverse backgrounds.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate must:
* Hold a valid and current driver's license.
* Obtain satisfactory criminal history and working with children checks.
* Meet NDIS workers screening requirements.
