Pace have joined with a very successful long-standing Agribusiness seeking a hands-on Mechanical Processing Supervisor to lead daily operations with a strong focus on equipment reliability, maintenance coordination, and production efficiency.
This role suits a mechanically minded supervisor with experience in processing or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily processing operations to meet production and quality targets
* Coordinate and support maintenance and mechanical readiness of plant and equipment
* Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate repairs as required
* Monitor schedules, production performance, and operational records
* Lead, roster, and train staff with a focus on safe equipment operation
* Support WHS and QA systems and promote a strong safety culture
* Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call alarm monitoring roster
About You
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience around processing plant and equipment
* Supervisory experience in manufacturing, processing, hatchery, or industrial environments
* Practical, hands-on leadership style
* Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Safety-focused and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
Desirable
* Experience in agribusiness, hatchery, poultry, or food processing
* Trade, technical, or agricultural qualifications
