About the Role
The Geophysical Logging Operator will be responsible for conducting geophysical logging, collecting subsurface data, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of geophysical measurements.
The incumbent will contribute to a wider range of projects, including water supply investigation, environmental assessments, and maintenance of existing infrastructure.
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting logging operations in various environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols.
Operating and maintaining geophysical logging equipment, including tools for measuring natural gamma radiation, resistivity, density, and porosity is a key component of this role.
The Geophysical Logging Operator also collaborates with geologists, engineers and team members to support project objectives.

Up to 30 June ****.
Essential Qualifications
A qualification in the engineering, natural resources, science or geosciences disciplines or equivalent.
Special Conditions
May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
Some intrastate travel requiring overnight absence may be required.
Out of hours work will be required.
Must be willing to obtain the required licenses to safely operate plant and equipment.
Current radioactive handlers license (or the ability to obtain).
This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.

Remuneration
TGO2 $75,240 min - $79,880 max p.a.
