The role of the Drop-In Support Volunteer is to support PCYC with the execution of PCYC’s diversionary “Drop In” program which supports youth participation through physical engagement in a safe and positive environment. This role focuses on supporting the PCYC staff with program and activity preparations, general engagements, and pack down of activity.Responsibilities:Equipment setup/pack down.Ensure activity’s safety and compliance.Food preparation and cooking (when applicable).Engagement activities ranging from but not limited to:Physical activities (sport based dependent on club focus)Artistic activitiesTable top games.Support administration of Drop-In via participant sign in procedures.Provide facilitators with support (as directed) during medical events.Suitable for:Individuals seeking to make a positive impact on youth through engagement.CommitmentRegular - less than 6 monthsTrainingWhere required, opportunities for training will be provided and can be tailored to the individual needs.Time requiredThursday - 4pm to 7.30pmRequirementsDriver's Licence (C)National Police CertificateTraffic CheckWorking with Children CheckWorking with Vulnerable People CheckAbility to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of young people.
