Chris Barnard Health is seeking an experienced Domestic Cleaner to join our growing home-care team, supporting clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of hygiene in health and aged-care environments, and is looking for stable hours with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.
About the Role
* Casual position to commence (approximately 20 hours per week)
* Permanent role available for the right candidate as services expand
* Providing in-home domestic support to aged-care and community clients
* Services delivered during weekday business hours (some flexibility may be available)
Key Responsibilities
* General household cleaning (kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, laundry)
* Maintaining high hygiene standards in client homes
* Following individual client care plans and service instructions
* Using cleaning products safely and appropriately
* Building respectful, professional relationships with clients
* Reporting any concerns or hazards to the office promptly
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare/home-care cleaning (essential)
* Strong understanding of hygiene and infection-control standards
* Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
* Ability to work independently in client homes
* Compassionate, respectful approach to working with older people
* Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
