We are seeking a Casual Support Worker & an Experienced receptionist to join our team at Three Points Core Support & Services PTY LTD in Townsville, Queensland. This is a casual position, providing in-home support services to clients within the aged and disability care sector.
What you'll be doing
* Providing personalized, high-quality support services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement
* Working with Vulnerable People check must be obtained within 30 days of commencement
* Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their dignity, independence, and wellbeing are prioritized
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and colleagues
* Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
* Actively participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar caregiving or support worker role within the aged and/or disability care sector
* A demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals within the aged and disability community
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathize with clients
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to promoting the independence and wellbeing of clients
* First Aid and CPR certification must be obtained before commencing employment if not currently held
* A valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
* Any relevant Certificate III qualification is desirable.
