Counsellor Lvl 1/2: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum

Occupational Therapist Lvl 1/2: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum

Psychologist: $77,358 - $113,226 per annum

Registered Nurse: $72, $101,299.48 per annum

Social Worker Lvl 1/2: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum

Welfare Officer Lvl 1/2: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum

Hours Per Week: 38

What you'll be doing

The Community Mental Health Clinician provides recovery focused clinical services including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review as part of a multidisciplinary team for people who are referred to the service with a mental illness, distress and/or risk issues.

Selection Criteria

* Tertiary Qualifications and current registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist OR Tertiary qualifications for Social Worker, Counsellor or Welfare Officer with eligibility for membership for relevant professional association.
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of contemporary clinical mental health practice including conducting mental health assessments, and the provision of evidence based interventions for people who are experiencing mental illness.
* Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act
* Understanding of the concept and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery and demonstrated experience and skills using a collaborative, strengths based approach to the care of mental health consumers.
* Demonstrated high level communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and other stakeholders, and a demonstrated high level proficiency in computer literacy.
* Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
