A Day in the Life of a Retrieval Specialist
No two days or patients will be the same. We offer a variety of rotations at our sites in Far West and Western NSW including bases in Dubbo and Broken Hill.
You will participate in a rotating training program with placements in Dubbo and Broken Hill, local rural hospitals, and other locations.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience
* Advanced trainee level from one of the following colleges: CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, ACRRM (with JCCA/DRGA)
* Completed a minimum total of 18 months critical care time (ED and ICU) and 6 months anaesthetics
* Experience in managing critically ill patients including trauma
* Ideal candidates will have completed ALS, APLS, ATLS (or equivalent)
* Recent practice in a critical care environment
