MARS Recruitment is partnering with a growing organisation in the automotive industry to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer for an initial 6-month contract, with a view to go permanent. This is a great chance to join a dynamic and evolving business, managing daily bank reconciliations, processing invoices, maintain vendor accounts, handle payments, resolve discrepancies, and drive AP process improvements.
The Responsibilities:
* Perform daily bank reconciliations.
* Process and review incoming invoices, ensuring correct approvals and coding.
* Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate transaction records.
* Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely vendor payments.
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
* Support audit processes and respond to internal and external stakeholder queries.
* Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounts payable processes.
The Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience in accounts payable.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* High levels of attention to detail.
To Note:
* 6M temp to perm contract.
* Full time and based in Silverwater, 2264.
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
