We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our Lithgow Community Mental Health team at Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD).

NBMLHD is a leading provider of public health services in the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region. Our community-based services and health centres offer a range of specialised mental health services for children, young people, families, and older people.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive clinical mental health services and care coordination to individuals with mental illness or mental disorder.
* Assess, plan, implement, facilitate, and evaluate mental health care in collaboration with individuals, their families, carers, and other healthcare agencies.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Registered Nursing.
* Demonstrated skills in mental health assessments and interventions, and experience working with people with mental illness.
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and computer competence.
* Ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and service providers to tailor care plans and enhance cultural sensitivity.
* Understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal mental health and wellbeing principles and practice improvement.
