A global pharmaceutical organisation is preparing for the launch of an innovative therapy in neurology and is expanding its Medical Affairs team in Australia. Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with neurologists, key opinion leaders and academic centres across NSW and ACT.
* Provide in-depth scientific and clinical support for the neurology portfolio.
* Support the pre-launch and launch activities for the new therapy through scientific engagement and education.
* Deliver high-quality scientific presentations and discussions with healthcare professionals.
* Respond to medical information requests in a balanced, accurate and compliant manner.
* Gather and communicate field insights and unmet medical needs to internal stakeholders.
* Support investigator-initiated studies and clinical research activities where appropriate.
* Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and Clinical Development teams to ensure alignment of strategy.
* Provide training and scientific support to internal teams, including commercial colleagues.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in line with relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements.
About You
* Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, PhD, or Life Sciences.
* Prior experience as an MSL or in a field-based medical role within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong interest or experience in neurology, neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
* Excellent ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly and credibly to healthcare professionals.
* Proven ability to build long-term relationships with KOLs and academic centres.
* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Ability to work autonomously within a field-based role.
* Previous neurology or neuroscience experience is advantageous
* Experience supporting product launches or pre-launch activities.
* Understanding of the Australian healthcare system and key neurological centre
