About the Role
Eureka Villages is offering an exciting development opportunity for a dedicated Chef who is ready to grow into a leadership role beyond the kitchen. Based at our Wulguru Village, this full-time position will initially focus on managing high-quality meal preparation and resident dining experiences, while being trained and mentored to transition into a Village Manager position.
In this dual-development role, you will:
• Lead daily kitchen operations while learning broader aspects of village management.
• Engage with residents to create welcoming, community-focused dining experiences.
• Undertake hands-on mentoring and structured training across administration, facilities, and resident engagement.
• Support local marketing, events, and property operations alongside the Regional and Corporate teams.
• Build confidence in leadership, compliance, and budgeting — setting the foundation for a future Village Manager role.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft office suite
About You
• Qualified and experienced Chef with strong operational and people skills.
• A genuine interest in community living, hospitality leadership, and career progression beyond the kitchen.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to satisfy pre-employment checks, including a National Police History Check.
